Today I am excited to take part in the De Nami Bloghop. If
you started out at the beginning, you arrived here from
I have used De Nami stamps since I made samples for
Papers By Catherine several years ago. I have always
loved the quiet elegance of these stamps that can also lean
towards the whimsical. For my card, I decided to go with
the more elegant look, incorporating some beautiful foiled
papers from The Paper Studio. This poinsettia stamp is actually
two stamps--one solid, and the other an outline stamp.
I stamped the solid stamp first, in red, and then stamped the
outline and embossed it in gold. The pearl center was complimented
by a row of tiny pearls along the scalloped border. I used a
glossy gold for the base of my card and for the Spellbinders
accent behind the flower. The red scallop circle is also done in a
shiny cardstock. I finished off the glitzy theme with a sparkly gold bow.
Now on your way to see some more beautiful cards.
