Penny Black Saturday Challenge

This week, the theme of the Penny Black
Saturday Challenge is to make a monochrome card.
I chose silver.  I love to have cards that glitter and shine
at Christmas time.  The problem is, they tend to not
photograph very well.  The viewer does not get to
really see all the glistening elements of the card.
I used a metallic silver for the base and the layered it with black
textured cardstock.  The I embossed both Penny Black images,
using silver ink from Colorbox and Agean Silver embossing
powder from Judi-Kins.  I added some bling to give a bit more
sparkle (you can't really see it on the tree image).  It makes a
really elegant presentation.  You can find this challenge at:

Very stylish card - beautiful image. I know what you mean about silver .. my card was silver this week and was a pig to photograph. this one looks really fab though :-). Thanks for joining in this week's PBSC
