Fond Farewell

A VERY dear friend is moving away next week.  Today we had a farewell lunch for her at her favorite  area restaurant.  Everyone had a card for her, but me.  The card was on my desk awaiting a stamp that she had for me from a Papertrey Ink order!!  It was just too perfect a sentiment not to wait for.  She will possibly see this card before it arrives in her mailbox :o)

I had to use a Penny black image, because that is what she will remember of me.  I gave her several Penny Black images, all colored in for her birthday because she HATES to color and I love it!   I also had to use DOTS because she knows my weakness for them.  LOL  And of course, I love to mix papers, so that was a "must" also.  She said today that she could always tell who made a card because we all have our own style.  Well, Suzy Q, you certainly won't have a doubt in your mind about this one!  Love you girl, and will miss you an awful lot!  I know you will remember your Houston pals whenever you are in your stamp room creating and we will think of you too!  :0(
