Fairy Fun Friday

The current theme for the Fairy Fun Friday Challenge is "Anything But A Card."
I had to put my thinking cap on for this one, as my original plan fell by the wayside due to my somehow misplacing the supplies.  So, in digging through my stash of "bought but never used" goodies, I came across a few of these little boxes.  I had just purchased a box of band aids for when the grand kids are over.  Since it is the girls that are usually the ones hunting them down, I bought some "girly" ones--Dora, I think.  Well, one thought led to another, and this is the idea I came up with.  The PRAIRIE FAIRY  image I used  will be sure to bring a smile to the girls when they need first aid.  I printed it off in a teeny tiny size and colored it with my new Spectrum Noir markers.  Then I sandwiched it between two pieces of class and ran some metal tape around to secure it. I am told you can use some dimensional lacquer/glue to seal it.  I tried.  I failed.  I ended up with a globby mess.  Obviously I was not doing something right.  If you know how to do that "technique"  I would appreciate a heads up!
It is the mid-week reminder for this challenge, so head on over by clicking on this link:
and join us for some fun!  There are great projects from all the fairy princesses and there are PRIZES!  Lots of great entries to see too, so do join us.

Bev, what a great adaptation, will it be a first aid kit or a get well box? Have a great weekend!
