Blog Hop

Welcome to StampNPlus Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!
If   Julie sent you over for a visit then you are exctly where you are meant to be. If you just happen to be visiting then you should head over to StampNplus   at http://stampnplus.blogspot.com/ for the beginning of this fabulous hop! Here is the card I made for the blog hop:
This month we are using stamps from the "Sarah Scribbles" line of whimsical little images.  The images I used on my cards are perfect for a card to send to a friend who has moved away.  I started by making a 5 inch square card and covered it with various layers of designer papers.  I stamped my fairy image and colored her with alcohol markers and cut her out and layered her using some Spellbinder dies.  I stamped the sentiment and also cut it out with a die and then using a white pen, I made little dots in the scallops. I finished off the card with embellishments of buttons and a polka dot knot.  Sweet and simple.  You can find the Sarah Scribbles line HERE
Here is a second card I did with another of the Sarah Scribbles images.  You can't see it much in this photo, but the flower bloom is popped out a bit.  I cut an extra bud out and put it on top of the other one.

Now it's time to visit  the very talented  BONNIE and see what she has made for us today.  I know it's going to be great!  Be sure to visit each of the blogs listed and leave a comment so that you will be in the running to win two stamps from Stamp'N Plus.

I envy your ability to use a variety of colors and patterns in a way that compliments the stamped image. Those buttons with the squiggly threads adds to the whimsy in the second card.

Beverly, I love the layers of paper on the first card. They really draw attention to this sweet image. The dots are a cute touch. Your second card is also very cute. Love the buttons and playfulness of this card.
